Calvary Chapel Southeast
Young Adults Ministry
(Ages 18-24)
Thanks for visiting our website! We exist , “So that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.” – Col. 1:10
Conduct: Walk in a manner worthy of the Lord: Let’s be honest; we don’t always walk worthy of our Lord. Sure, we are all learning to walk with Christ, but let’s face it: sometimes we use that as an excuse to not follow Christ wholeheartedly. Our prayer is that you’d be completely dissatisfied with the experience of claiming Christ without living for Him.
Growth: Increasing in the knowledge of God: Our desire is for you to grow: Spiritually, emotionally, and relationally!!! That is why our primary focus is worshipping God through the study of His Word, song, prayer, and fellowship. The more time you spend with God in the Word, the more you increase in your knowledge of Him. Likewise, the more time you spend with other believers, the more your knowledge of one another increases. The emphasis is on relationship, not religion, with God and one another.
Service: Bearing fruit in every good work: We long for not only to know your Bible’s and faith inside and out, but to live out that faith daily through service. The Bible teaches that genuine faith ALWAYS results in passionate living (James 2:18) and that we should be doers of the Word and not hearers only (James 1:22). We want to give you opportunities to discover your gifts by service in the church and to a lost and hurting world.
Our Ultimate aim is to share the love of Jesus, as well as our lives, with the young people in our community and our church so they may “walk worthily of the calling in Christ”, and “be thoroughly equipped for every good work”.
We meet Sunday evenings at 6:30 pm at the Church in the Front room for worship, prayer, Bible study and fellowship. The study times are designed around the Word of God and discussion is a must! Come ready to dig into the Word and dialogue about faith and life.
